AMD is the new industry leader but for how long?
Catalyst for the trade: Advanced Micro Devices is beating its competition in all aspects. The CPU with their new Ryzen series is a competitor of Intel, which historically has been the leader of this group. Now AMD is the leader with microprocessors that are smaller and faster, meaning they will find their way into news small and efficient gadgets. The GPU branch with Radeon is a competitor of NVIDIA which was also the industry leader until AMD started to challenge that position. We are bullish on this stock but we see from the technical picture and the pre-market trading on Friday that the most likely scenario for today is a bearish decline. If the markets continue to fall, AMD will also experience a correction until the level of the 50 EMA at 85.21.
